We were unable to attend the Snow Skiing event this year with the USARC but look forward to attending next year. The USARC is committed to guiding people with disabilities toward the creation and affirmation of rewarding lifestyles. They have programs during the winter and summer and we all look forward to going back.
Last year we had the joy of taking 115 people with disabilities and their caregivers to 4 baseball games. This year our goal is to take 200 to Angels baseball games and please contact us for the available dates.
Hand-N-Hand square dance club for adults with a disability meets every Tuesday at 6:30 pm at the Norman Murray Center in Mission Viejo. The Sunshine Twirlers meet in Buena Park on Wednesday nights at 7 pm. Please call 949-697-2866 for more information. The clubs are a part of the state wide Handicapables.
Women’s Fashion Show has been cancelled this year but will be back again next year.
The “Wonder of Christmas” a Living Nativity performed by approximately 30 adults and children with disabilities will be performed on December 2, 2017. If you would like to be part of the Living Nativity please contact us a 949-707-9100.
Pathway to Hope continues to collect wheelchairs and canes to help people achieve freedom and mobility because of your donation. Please call us at (949) 707-9100 to arrange a pickup and a tax voucher from one of our volunteers.
This years’ Harvestfest will be on October 31, 2017 at 5 pm and there will be games, prizes and great food. The store is located on the corner of Alicia Parkway to the 5 Freeway and the time is from 8 AM to 4 PM.
